LOL the story of my life. People that know I’m trans always ask me to tell stories about my daily life as if being transgender in the bible thumping south is this some kind of wonderful experience with nothing but happiness, joy and fairy glitter everywhere. I’m like I did the same things you did today with some extra crap thrown into the mix just because of my medical condition. I got up, went to work, got harassed for being transgender at work as usual, started crying just after I got in my car to go home because its incredibly hard to not breakdown crying at work in front of others as a response to all the negativity I receive, got home then watched TV for a while or adulted taking care of homeowner responsibilities, then went to bed, cuddled with my dogs for a bit and went to sleep to do it all over again tomorrow.
Hey now, even day to day mundane stuff can be really enjoyable to read and really relaxing
But if ya ever wanna borrow dramatic life stories from me, I’ve been in all kinds of homeless situations, traumatic experiences, and terrifying stuff since I transitioned, and I don’t have a talent for illustration
I agree with Papaya Punk Pixie, day to day stuff is nice too! Like some pages of Wapsi Square are just about rapid weather changes or enjoying some nice coffe etc, and its still a good comic, with a complex storyline and drama etc.
Hey, I love your comics. Please keep drawing! I am a trans woman who isn’t out yet and is still far away from transitioning. I love the honesty in your stories.
I think you have more to say than you realise! How do your visions work? Show us more stories of you growing up, not just the trans stuff but family memories. Your first bully, your first car, your greatest accomplishment, your biggest dream. It’s *all* trans stuff cause you *are* trans. You don’t need to make things trans themed, cause it already is. see? 🙂 I’ve followed your comic for a while and hope you can publish more regularly! *hugs*
No pressure cuz that can suck. But I <3 your humor & perspective on our shared topic. And your drawing is beautiful to look at, too, at a time when so many comics aren't IMNSHO, whatever other qualities they might have. For me, Sarah in Girl Mode is kind of crushable, too!
But as we say, be sure to You Do You, too! <3 , Leanne
I can completely relate to your comic, especially the ones that involve your life before, and how your relationship with your ex fell apart when you transitioned
no, no, no, no.
Your alter-ego has a point, but…
Slice of no-drama-life is what works for you. The small things is what define us, not the confrontations, swords, and heroic costume.
Oh snap, you just owned yourself 🙂
OTOH your comic has helped me quite a bit!
Keep up the wonderful work 🙂

Previous comic nailed it for alot of us….at least she didn’t get married. That complicates things.
I really love your work.
Yay you’re back!!!!

Nobody’s life is really interesting, but your comics are amazing and relatable!
