Here we are introduced to Sarah’s family, and also to her ex-girlfriend Emily. My actual family is bigger and complicated, I even have brothers which are not brothers between each other, so for the comic I decided to keep it simpler, and not confuse readers. Michael is a mix, both in appearance and personality, of my three little brothers.
We have a hint here of Sarah’s college studies in Physics, you can see Penrose’s “The Road to Reality” sitting right next to her phone. It’s a very, very dense book, even for scientists. I haven’t gone past the first couple pages.
Emily is an ex I take it?
XD haha I can relate to this so well. Being tech savy can get a little irritating when that seems to be the reason people want to chat.
This is why I don’t tell everyone I am good at something technical.

I love your strip!!! Thanks so much for creating it. My I put a link on my website to your site, please. I am just a writer (11th book coming out soon) and I couldn’t draw to save my life but you are GREAT!
Of course! Feel free to link my site wherever you please. 🙂
So, I got here not through my trans friends, but my IT friends. And I REALLY like what I’m reading. 😀 Good work!
Do all us tgirls end up in tech support?
I’ve known a few, including myself.
Oddly enough the most common profession among the trans women I know is lawyer… (I know like half a dozen) just a quirk of my circle I imagine.
This is great! I can’t get enough of your positive light perspective!
Hi there 🙂
I love your comic strip! I found it after a tgirl friend on facebook posted a link to your newest entry.
I strongly identify with this one. It IS strange how often tgirls are in some kind of tech support or advanced tech career. I am an IT Operator at a data centre, and helpdesk agent after hours, and over weekends.
I never transitioned fully, even though I wanted to, and still want to, but couldn’t due to several reasons, including health risks. I was on hormones for almost 2 years, but had to stop, which left me sort of inbetween…
Although it means I still have a lot of dysphoria, I deal with it as well as I can. With help from a supporting wife, and others whom I trust.
Please keep up the strip, I will definitely be following it from now on.

Oh my gosh.. that’s the story of my life!!
I knows that feel. I’m a total computer nerd, and I identify as MTF. But, I’m pretty much pre-everything.
Yes…me too…my mom-in-law still won’t use my correct name and pronouns, but she know who to call when she has computer trouble. (At least she and my spouse now go to our adult son for the “guy-fixit-things” they used to come to me for.)
Oh Yes – Pretty much reassembles my usual day. Just my standard response/fix is missing

Oh wow, I can relate so hard to this. My brother used to have me download songs for him all the time and for some reason, I just hated getting up from my drawing or whatever to go do it. I dunno if I was really selfish or lazy or didn’t like being interrupted, but man did I have an unnecessary distaste for it.
