Justin

It’s really hard to deal with intolerant and transphobic people. Luckily for me, I’ve only personally met a few of these people. On the Internet, on the other hand, there’s a ton of them, flooding the comment section of videos and articles about trans issues with hatred and insults. Justin is representative of this group of people, and it’s not a coincidence that he looks an awful lot like Draco Malfoy. Doesn’t “You’re not a real wizard because you’re not pure-blood” sound too similar to “You’re not a real woman because you don’t have XX chromosomes”?
Brilliant 🙂
Good Guy Derrek…
Love it.
Glad you’re posting! Love this comic and your expressions 🙂
More than a few times I wish I had been able to do that.
My argument against the whole Y chromosome thing is Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Complete_androgen_insensitivity_syndrome
^ THIS.
Though it’s a safe bet that if a person is too ignorant to acknowledge the difference between sex and gender, they’d probably be unfazed by the existence of intersex conditions.
Intersex conditions are more common than people realize because sex isn’t entirely black or white. I actually might suffer from mild or partial AIS or another complication of hormones. I developed a few female secondary sexual characteristics during puberty and it made life awkward for a while. People have a hard time understanding it. Before I transitioned I got a lot of crap for “looking too much like a girl”. Hormones are nutty.
Ahh, the beloved chromosome argument. What utter tripe.
You should just rename the series “Relatable Comics”
